*Joe Doe Guitars are the brain child of Ben Court, who designs and hand builds guitars that each have an interesting and fun story attached to them. The success of his concept led to him joining up with JHS Vintage to produce limited factory runs of his concepts and ideas.

Follow Rock and Roll back to the source and you'll travel past Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and arrive at Sister Rosetta Tharpe. She was the godmother of rock and roll. Amen! So said retired preacher Ralph G Lee to the Milwaukee Gazette in 1974. Lee created a tribute guitar modelled on Sister Rosetta Tharpe's iconic white 1962 Gibson SG as he couldn't afford an original.
