Shapland and Petter, Barnstaple, an Arts and Crafts mahogany and copper bookcase cabinet, circa 1905, projecting moulded cornice above a cavetto copper frieze with the repousse motto 'Reading Maketh a Full Man', above triple leaded and glazed doors opening to leather trimmed height adjustable shelving, serpentine top over a central display void and drawer, flanked by linenfold cupboards either side with extended copper hinges, each with an internal drawer, one with a revolving and retractable wine rack, raised on square supports, lockplates stamped S&P, height 212cm, width 157cm, depth 56cm
