A WWI group of four to '5559 Pte. J B Smith R Fus', 1914-15 Star, War Medal, Victory Medal and Army Meritorious Medal, together with corresponding miniatures , a photograph of the recipient and a Zenith, an alarm pocket watch, the black dial with luminous hands, subsidiary seconds dial and alarm setting dial, the movement having a lever escapement and signed Zenith, the gun-metal case with a flat base to rear cover to allow for standing, diameter 47mm. Near-identical to watches supplied by Zenith for the German military in the Great War, 1914-1918.
