A Chinese doucai 'duck and lotus pond' porcelain dish, four character mark within double concentric circles to base, probably Daoguang period (1821-1850), decorated to the interior medallion with two ducks swimming on a pond amidst lotus, the exterior similarly decorated, with three pairs of ducks amidst delicately enamelled bullrushes and six large lotus flowers, all within concentric line borders, 6in. (15.1cm.) diameter. Small, faint hairline to rim. No other faults.
