A LATE VICTORIAN, 18CT GOLD OPEN FACE POCKET WATCH, key wound, round Roman numeral white dial, subsidiary seconds dial at the six o'clock position, blue steel hands, in a polished case with engraved monogram and family crest, inside case back hallmarked 18ct London 1878, makers mark G.A.P, personal engraving to the 18ct gold dust cover, reads 'Joseph Izod A Gift From His Father On HIs 21st Birthday 26th Nov 1881', movement signed 'W.Clarke & Sons 173 Goswell Rd London', stamped 95901, approximate case width 51.2mm, approximate gross weight 113.2 grams, together with information regarding the family crest and two watch keys (condition report: watch winds, sets and runs at time of cataloguing although time keeping is untested, general light wear, we cannot guarantee the working order of any watch)
