£240
Guild of Handicraft Ltd: an Arts & Crafts copper and enamel cigarette box - early 20th century, the base with stamped 'G of H Ltd' mark, the rectangular planished copper box with central pierced copper and red enamel plaque, the slightly overhanging lid on rivetted strap hinges, the cedar-lined interior with central divider, raised on rivetted corner supports with flared feet, 19 x 12.5 x 5cm.
* Condition: In very original, unpolished condition. No damage to enamel. The front of the left hand hinge (attached to the lid) is broken off at the joint with the hinge pin - this means that the lid does not sit flush with the base of the box. The back left foot is creased and pushed inwards a little. The cedar lining is stained. There are no other faults.
