Four 19th century replica abbey and college seals - each in moulded pale yellow opaque glass and housed in a bentwood box with handwritten label to the lid, comprising the 'Common Seal of the College of Plecy, Essex.....Cast 1539'; 'Seal of the Abbey of Louth Park.....Indie 1535'; 'Seal of the Abbey of St. John Colchester Essex'; and one other, the largest 9.6cm diameter.
