Five; WWII R.A.F. Bomber Command to include, 1939-45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, Africa Star, Defence Medal and R.A.F. Efficiency Medal engraved to Warrant Officer W.G. Higgs 801501 A.A.F, together with Miniatures and re-issued pair of War and Defence Medals. Also Caterpillar Club Badge with Certificate of Membership to Flight Sergeant W. Higgs and Letter of Issue, Royal Air Force P.O.W. Association Medallion in case of issue and R.A.F. Cap. The Group is accompanied by Higg's R.A.F. Observer's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book. The flight log details when the Halifax W7657 of 35 Squadron was shot down killing Wing Commander J. Marks D.S.O & Bar and Flight Lieutenant J. Child D.F.C. on 19th September 1942 on a raid to Saarbrucken. Flight Sergeant Higgs was taken P.O.W. and having recovered from broken legs was held at Stalag IX-X, Stalag Luft I & VI and Stalag 357 before being repatriated on 4th May 1945
