A FINE MAHOGANY CROSSBANDED REGENCY SOFA TABLE, circa 1810, a handsome piece of 19th century furniture; the short leaves to the side raise up when required creating a fine dining or serving table, the edge of the surface with lovely crossbanding detail, a pair of drawers to the frieze with a ‘dummy’ pair to the back, all raised on a pair of upright side pod supports which each have a pair of down swept legs with brass toes and castors; united by a turned single stretcher bar.
