MINT & USED COLLECTION, 1860-1939: Large binder with an attractively presented collection on display pages. Virtually complete for the period, missing only a few of the high value 1919 Cracow Provisional opts and the two scarce Gniezno Provisionals. Includes 4 good to fine examples of 1860 SG 1, noting all 3 of the SG listed shades. Cancels are those of Warsaw (2), Ciechanowiec & Lubien. Collection is generally very fine throughout. Better sets noted inc. 1921 Red Cross set of 4 mint SG 154/157, 1924 New Currency set of 11 mint SG 218/228, 1925 National Fund set of 11 mint SG 230/240, 1925 Air set of 9 mint SG 252/260, etc. Also present are all the 1920s/30s mini sheets inc. 1928 Warsaw Philatelic Exhib. mint SG MS270 (£550), 1938 5th Philatelic Exhib. (2) and 1938 Stratosphere Flight, etc. An excellent collection with much additional historic information provided. (Many 100s)
