Byron George Browne (1907-1961), American, figural watercolour, signed bottom right, frame size 47.5 by 3 by 82.5cm. He was a founding member in 1936 of the American Abstract Artists group, an organisation based in New York that was dedicated to the exhibition of abstract art.
