AN ANTIQUE 12 BORE SIDE BY SIDE PERCUSSION SHOTGUN BEARING THE NAME JOSEPH TYE ON THE LOCKS, it is fitted with 29'' damascus barrels which, together with the other metal fitting have an overall brown patina generated by a light coating of rust, both locks are in working condition, its walnut stock is chequered on the wrist, the trigger guard has a well engraved pineapple finial, Joseph Tye was listed as a gunmaker in Spalding Lincolnshire between 1848-1867
