2nd VB Gloucestershire Regiment Victorian Officer pouch belt plate circa 1905-08. Good scarce die-stamped silvered crowned Maltese cross, lions between the arms, bearing circlet VB GLOUCESTERSHIRE REGT with applied SOUTH AFRICA 1900-02 below, voided centre bearing strung bugle with 2 lodged between the cords. Three screw posts to reverse. Central mirrored backing disc. VGC HQ at Gloucester. Battalion still using Victorian plates until 1908.
