A George III mahogany stick barometer by William Horrod of London - the broken architectural pediment over a signed, silvered register with sliding vernier scale and mercury thermometer, the trunk with feathered veneers, moulded angles and exposed tube, terminating in a domed, bulb-shaped cistern cover, 96.5cm high, moulding missing from one side of pediment.
