Brientz scene has the women and well at goats, watercolour on buff paper which is possibly discoloured a little darker most notably in the unpainted paper in the sky, colours probably a little faded but still with fair strength, signed and dated lower left, one or two tiny scattered dirt marks, the other work in similar condition, signature a little faded lower left, both in old discoloured washline mounts with slim parcel gilt white frames, labels verso for the Boydell Galleries of Liverpool.
