A Champion's Bristol small sucrier and cover from a cabaret set, of globular form with bud and stalk finial, painted with flower sprays and sprigs on a ground of gilt spiral lines, gilt 4.mark, circa 1775-80, 9cm [restored chip to cover, minor wear to gilt]. Cf. F.Severne Mackenna 'Champion's Bristol Porcelain' fig. 55 for similar spiral gilt decoration.
