Late 19th Century Flemish oak settle, heavily carved throughout. The back with three inset fielded panels depicting a group of musicians and card players. The sweeping arms carved with lion's heads and the hinged seat opening to reveal a storage space below. The front of the settle ornately carved with lion masks and scrolling acanthus, all raised on carved lion paw feet to front. H 130cm, W 162cm, D 53cm, seat height 56cm.
