A 19th century Etruscan Revival yellow metal bracelet, the seven square shaped panels with central stylised flowerhead detail, with rope twist and cannetille detail, shaped to the reverse, box and tongue fitting, unmarked, 17.5cm long, 57gms, within a fitted ‘Harry Emanual’ case (at fault)
Please note, we have not tested the metal.
Thumbpiece to tongue has snapped off, will require attention as bracelet will fasten, however very hard to release!
All panels show no major areas of loss, or obvious repairs.
Areas of 'holes' within the high relief areas of the metal.
Minor surface scratches and blemishes seen to front of panels (seen with x10 loupe)
Furthest panel (closest to tongue of clasp) shows discolouration to front, and area of compression to reverse (see images) Discolouration and blemishes seen particularly to this panel.
Four of the rounded terminals show dents, discolouration or splits.
Hinges show discolouration in some areas.
Minor surface scratches, blemishes and scuffs commensurate with age and wear.
Box shows wear, and discolouration, particularly to the interior of the lid.
Box exterior shows marks, and scuffs, commensurate with age.
