Two plain-backed postcard-size carts of former England footballer Stanley Matthews – one in action during a match (this card has edge and corner wear and a half-inch plus vertical crease bottom middle); and one signed by him in an advertising promotional card for C.W.s. football Boots. It’s not know if the signature is original – or a copy, but the card is scarce The latter card has small tears to the top and bottom edges, some other corner and edge wear and some minor discoloration/marks, including top right.
