A Belgian 6 shot 12mm Chamelot & Delvigne double action pinfire revolver, c 1865, sighted octagonal barrel 114mm, the breech stamped with crown over “EL” mark and “CHAMELOT & DELVIGNE —ON BTE” and engraved in gothic script “Juan Lopes Buenos-Ayres”, the cylinder and frame engraved with floral medallions bearing faint traces of gilt, with folding trigger, plain ivory grips, and lanyard ring.
