A 19th century bronze mounted boulle work brass inlaid mantel clock. The movement signed ' Adam Thomson New Bond Street, London ' Circa 1840 / mid 19th century, the 21cm diameter dial with blue enamel Roman chapters and foliate cast. The dial inset over a chequered case floor, the fusee movement striking on a bell. Large full length glazed door cast with foliate ormolu mountings / scroll work, being supported on heavy set ormolu gilt bracket feet, Finished with a domed top surmounted by a scrolled ormolu mount. Boulle work body with inlaid brass scrolling insets all over. Measures 70cm high x 36cm wide.
