A LATE 19th CENTURY EBONISED EIGHT BELL QUARTER CHIMING BRACKET CLOCK the case with pagoda top pediment surmounted by Hermes and four flaming urns above a glazed door flanked by ormolu caryatid canted corners, side carrying handles and pierced brass sound frets to sides, the 8" silvered engraved dial with Roman chapter ring and three subsidiary dials to the arch for Chime/Silence, tune selection and regulation dial fronting a substantial eight-day triple fusee chain driven movement chiming the quarters on eight bells and the hour on a gong 82cm high.
