A Lachenal & Co. twenty-seven bone-button concertina, with pierced fretworked rosewood ends, leather & paper bellows, the label reading 'The Peerless Anglo-German, Manufactured by Lachenal & Co., Specially for John C. Murdoch & Co. Ltd.', numbered 24249, contained in original fitted hexagonal mahogany case, (the case 17.5cm high x 21 cm wide.
Condition report: No apparent holes or tears to the bellows. Surface marks throughout commensurate with age and use. Loose hinge to the lid of the box, and no key present.
