A 19th Century Indian Tulwar ( Talwaar / Talwar ) sword. Disc shaped pommel with tapering finial, waisted hilt retaining some of the silvered patina and a cruciform crossguard with swollen quillons. Curved blade with some pitting commensurate with age. Housed within a wooden scabbard. Measures approx 95cm.
