19th Century Ethiopian Cavalry Sword
30 1/2 inch, single edged, curved blade. Two narrow fullers with central panel etched with stand of arms, shields and floral scrolls. The reverse with Cyrillic panel and "Cast Steel London". White metal langets, downturn quillon and stirrup knuckle bow. White metal lion mask pommel with plain backstrap. Black composite grip. Contained in its tooled leather scabbard. Throat absent.
