There are two holes on the back of the chair adjacent to the frame. There are further small holes adjacent to the frame on the left hand side with subsequent over painting (see images). The varnish has yellowed somewhat and would benefit from cleaning. The signature is clear, lower right. There is a small scratch in the upper part, just below the frame.
The frame itself is in relatively good order with some minor knocks and gesso flakes.
