A worksplate, ROBERT STEPHENSON & Co, 3906, DARLINGTON, 1925, from a LNER N7 Class 0-6-2T No 947 which was renumbered 9661 in 1946 and became BR 69661. It entered traffic at Ardsley in November 1925 and moved the following month to Stratford where it spent the remainder of its working life. Withdrawn in October 1959, it was cut up at Stratford Works. Engraved brass, 11¼"x5¼", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: C)
