§ A WILLIAM IV SILVER TEAPOT
by Paul Storr, London 1832, of squat circular form, the handle with a leaf-form thumbpiece, the spout partially fluted and with a leaf-form terminal, engraved with a crest and coat of arms. 25cm long, 17 troy ounces
With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number QYTZDB53
It is fully marked underneath, and further partial marks on the handle and inside cover. The base is further stamped 'Storr & Mortimer' and numbered '58'. The marks are generally clear. Some overall surface scratching and wear are consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving. There is some cracking and discolouration to the ivory insulators, which show no signs of being added or altered.
