An Indian cabside numberplate, 2008, YP, an All-India plate from a metre gauge 4-6-2 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 27207, in 1952, one of the 871-strong YP Class, some members of which lasted until the end of Indian main line steam in February 2000. Most were built by Tata in India but NBL built an early batch of 100 engines. Cast iron, 22½"x10½", the front repainted, loss at top centre of beading. (Postage Band: N/A)
