A smokebox numberplate, 48662, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8662 built to Railway Executive Committee order by the Southern Railway at Eastleigh in 1944, becoming BR 48662. It spent most of its BR days at Toton and Burton, finishing at Westhouses and Colwick from where it was withdrawn in November 1966 and sold for scrap to Drapers at Hull. The front repainted.
