A harlequin suite of three Victorian parcel gilt black lacquer papier-mâché, ebonised and mother of pearl marquetry drawing room chairs, each with a drop-in seat, cabriole forelegs, 88.5cm high, 52cm wide, the seat 43cm wide and 31cm deep
Condition response:
Each chair with several examples of cracking to lacquer, loss to gilt paintwork and mother of pearl inlays. Damage and wear and tear present commensurate with use and age. Historic woodworm present in seats. Please see attached images for examples.
