A VICTORIAN BURR WALNUT CREDENZA, third quarter 19th century, of D form with foliate marquetry and gilt metal mounts, the moulded edged top surmounted by a gilt metal trim to the back edge, central arched and banded door enclosing velvet lined interior and flanked by turned tapering columns with leaf capitals, flanked in turn by glazed corner cupboards, on turned feet, 64 3/4" w x 17 1/4" d x 43 3/4" h (Est. plus 24% premium inc. Some losses to gilt metal banding to freeze and the glass panel of right door, and one applied gilt metal leaf to base of left column. Glass panel of left corner cupboard missing, otherwise good.
