A wooden tray with relief carving of Itsukushima Shinto Shrine in Japan.
It depicts the Torii (gate), which is submerged at high tide and entrance
to the Shinto Shrine – a UNESCO World Heritage Site - on the island
of Itsukushima, with the mount Misen on the background. Signed on the
verso. Showa Era (1926-1989). Excellent condition.
