Japanese POW's KGVI Efficiency Medal (Militia) to 4858668 Pte D. Smith R. Leicesters very fine. Douglas Smith was taken POW serving with 1st Bn attached 1 Indian Infantry Coy during the fall of Singapore 15th February 1942. With copied casualty rolls, he was not liberated until 2/9/45. (Y)
