A SIDE DRUM BY HENRY POTTER AND CO OF LONDON. A twenty-inch side drum marked by the manufacturer Henry Potter & Co. 36 West St. Charing X Rd. London. The sides painted with a wavy white line against a black ground, within brown borders, the sides with panels of black, brown and wood grain with apparently original rope and hanging cord. 39cm high, 54cm wide. By family repute this drum was the property of Colonel Leonard Hardy of the 1st Life Guards *Condition: Good condition given age. Slightly grubby and scuffed in places.
