A matched four-piece George III silver tea set, including a tea caddy; oval with foliate bright cut borders and vacant shield shaped cartouches; the teapot with 'c' scroll fruit wood handle and oval knop; the tea caddy similar; all with gilt interiors; the lockable tea caddy with key. The teapot and tea caddy London 1794 by Robert Hennell; the cream jug and sugar basin, London 1796 and 1800 by Robert and David Hennell. Together with a matched pair of sugar tongs, also bright cut engraved. London 1794, maker's mark indistinct. Gross weight. 44.80 ozt.
