Enfield 1853 pattern (2-band), 33'' smoothbore barrel stamped with 19thC London proof marks, fitted with folding rear ramp sight and ramrod under. The action hand-engraved with maker's name (also present on the barrel) and double border outline. The hammer operating on full and half cock, cap nipple with captive protective ringlet.
