A 17th-century style oak, child's joined high chair, with carved decoration, the shaped arms with turned pommel supports and solid plank seat supported on a squared and turned frame united by a box stretcher. 97 cm overall height x 42 cm overall width x 28 cm overall depth x 61 cm high to the seat.

Footnote: Although some timbers have a rich patina and apparent age I think it is possible that this is either an adaptation of a piece of chair furniture or constructed at a later date from period and other architectural timbers/elements.

Condition report: Some old signs of woodworm activity to the seat and other elements
