Medals (3) of M2-099340 (33611) Driver William George Whithorn A.S.C. 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal 1914-1920, and Allied Victory Medal 1914-1918. A resident of King’s Heath, Birmingham. Enlisted on 25th May 1915. Landed in France on 17th July 1915 with 258th Company, Army Service Corps. Compulsory transferred on 25 th September 1917 to 1st/8th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Wounded in action but remained on duty on 28th October 1917. Discharged on 7th May 1919.
