** NETHERLANDS INTERCEPTED & HELD MAIL; Remarkable Oct. 1940 defective & repaired censored (in Germany) airmail express env. to Los Angeles ex Amsterdam with philatelic franking apparently unclaimed - "SECOND NOTICE" h.s. on front - and returned via NY but held in Bermuda where sellotape applied to reseal as evidence of censorship (possibly due to containing high value stamps) and with a typed paste-on label on rear indicating the cover was eventually released by a prize court and returned in 1951.
