A VERY GOOD QUALITY MAHOGANY CROSS-BANDED & INLAID DROP LEAF SUTHERLAND TABLE, each corner is canted which creates a lovely serpentine shape to the table when the leaves are up. To the centre of the table is a large oval shaped inlaid conch shell design. The table raised on a pair of side pod supports with slatted detail and curved leg ends with string inlaid detail, the side supports united by a central wide stretcher. The two leaves are supported by gate legs on each side when in use. Nice neat size with leaves down so can be stored easily. Dimensions: 62 x 19 x 65cm. (W x D x H – closed) 79cm deep with leaves up.
