KEVIII-PERIOD L.M.S. 3d PARCEL STAMP COMMERCIALLY USED WITH NO ADDITIONAL POSTAGE STAMP; 14 May 1936 env. (corner fault at top left barely detracts) addressed to "BOWMAKERS LTD....BOURNEMOUTH" and with typed "TO BE DELIVERED ON ARRIVAL" above address, but only franked with the LMS "Acton Bridge" o.p. 3d Orange-red; the 1½d postage stamp should also have been applied but the Post Office seems to have overlooked this and the stamp (pencil "13/6/36" cancel) is tied by the "LONDON N.W.1" machine cancel.
