Simon Wigg used this machine in 1994 to become the world long track champion for the fifth time. The previous year he had used basically the same bike but with a different engine to win his fourth title. Wigg's attention to detail were the hallmark of his machine preparation and it showed in his consistent results. Vendor purchased it from him after his title win, along with his once worn ultra lightweight complete set of riding gear being sold in the next lot.
