A GEORGIAN OAK BOARDED BOX, mid 18th century, the moulded edge plank lid opening to a void interior, shallow drawer below with brass pear drop handles, on moulded base, 29" x 20 1/4" x 11 1/4" (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
Very good, good colour. Hinges probably replaced but contempory and no sign of any previous hinge, replaced lock plate amd brassware also married up. Some shrinkage to lid planks - not offensive
