C E Miller MM RA), Defence Medal and GVI Meritorious Service Medal (1037063 W.O.CL.2. C E Miller MM RA). MM L/G 14/9/1916, one of four MM's to 50th Battery in this schedule. Awarded with 2nd Div Arty, most likely for the Somme at Delville Wood end of July 1916. Admitted to 31st Ambulance Train 22/4/1917. Post-war he became an NSPCC Inspector c1933 to 1962. Born 1894, died 1966. Born Portsmouth, lived Crewe. (7)
