Ernest Hemingway 'The Old Man and The Sea', first English edition, published 1952 by Jonathan Cape, with dust jacket
This is a first printing in Great Britain 1952.
The dust jacket has a small tear adjacent to the spine. The spine has very slight fading. It has not been price clipped. There is foxing on the first paper and the title page; similarly the end paper and there is some discolouration to the inside edge of the dust jacket. There is also some slight rubbing to the dust jacket at the edge of the spine and the edges of the book.
Altogether a nice example.
