1868 (July 2) Cover from Ireland Island to Kentville, Nova Scotia, with 6d dull purple cancelled by "3" type K1 numeral, "BERMUDA / I / PAID" c.d.s alongside with "CTS / 5" charge mark for internal Nova Scotia postage and red "4" credit to the Bermuda Post Office, backstamped at Halifax and Kentville. Opening tears to upper edge (now glued down), otherwise fine and scarce; virtually all mail to Nova Scotia was addressed to Halifax.
