A Chinese Canton famille rose vase, late 19th / early 20th century, slightly lobed baluster form with handkerchief rim and single moulded chilong to the neck, painted with fan shaped reserves with carp and butterflies amidst flowers, 10 1/8in. (25.7cm.) high; together with a 20th century famille verte-jaune crackle glaze rouleau vase, painted with a pair of ho-ho birds, peonies and a tree, 14 1/8in. (35.9cm.) high, hole to base for lamp wiring; two other 20th century famille rose vases; and a pair of Japanese Kutani saucer dishes. (6) - Fan decorated vase: Two small rim chips and a few glaze frits to rim - rim and chilong have been later gold painted over the original gilt. - Kutani dishes: Good condition, with just some gilt wear. - The other three vases in good condition, with no faults.
