Edwardian mahogany Carlton House desk with satinwood inlaid borders, brass gallery to the top, the top section with single lockable door flanked by three short drawers on either side, flanked by a further single door cupboard and a single hinged compartment on either end, raised over a long drawer flanked by two single drawers, on four squared tapering legs on castors, 103cm high x 135cm wide x 66cm deep
Surface scratches, scuffs, knocks throughout. Leather top has faded in areas with slight discolouration. Similar discolouration also visible on the wooden sections on the front and sides. Areas of losses to cross banded veneer, most noticeably to the reverse. Damage split to top left section, with a later repair. Drawers open and close smoothly
