Empress of Australia pair of roundels featuring hand-painted winged cherubs, circa 1913, from the ship's First-Class Lounge, built for the Hamburg American Line in 1913 as the Admiral Von Tirpitz post-war she was purchased by Canadian Pacific and renamed Empress of China and finally Empress of Australia. Each roundel measures 9ins. diameter.
